Meet Sierra Walker

Handing a ticket, a charge or a claim to someone you have never met is not a small thing. You want to know it is being handled carefully and correctly, by someone who understands what is at stake if it is not.

Butler Legal Services was founded by Sierra Walker, a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario since 2021. With more than 10 years of experience in legal and client services, Sierra’s professional background spans law firms, corporate governance and finance, giving her a strong foundation in navigating complex processes, managing sensitive matters and working with clients across a range of circumstances.

Beyond her legal practice, Sierra is well respected in the notary industry as a notary public, educator and mentor. In 2021, she founded Notable Notary, a notary and apostille services business that she continues to operate. In 2023, she founded The Notary Blueprint, an education and mentorship platform that has supported more than 5,000 notaries across Canada and the United States through professional education, practical guidance and ongoing mentorship.

As the founder and host of The Notary Blueprint Conference™, Sierra is also a speaker and educator with more than 3,000 teaching hours. Her work focuses on helping professionals navigate the practical aspects of their work, strengthen their knowledge and approach their responsibilities with confidence. Her professional recognition includes being named a National Notary Association Influencer of the Year finalist and earning the Certified Apostille Processing Expert (CAPX™) designation.

Sierra has also contributed to the professional community through her involvement with the Ontario Association of Black Paralegals, where she previously served as a board member and remains an active member. In September 2026, she appeared in Judged Before The Judge, a documentary exploring the experiences and perspectives of Black paralegals, sharing her own professional experiences and insights.

While Butler Legal Services is a new practice, the experience behind it is not.

Sierra brings that same attention to detail, professionalism and commitment to client service to her legal practice. She believes people deserve to understand their options, know what to expect and feel confident that their matter is being handled with care.

Butler Legal Services represents clients across Ontario, virtually and in person, in Small Claims Court matters, traffic and highway offences, and minor criminal and provincial offences. The practice is built around a straightforward commitment: making legal services more accessible through practical guidance, honest advice, clear communication and transparency at every stage of the process.
